About

Precision is the product.

I'm a senior QA engineer who builds the systems that prove software works — black box, system integration, and database testing, with a bias toward testing that scales. Today I lead quality for a licensed sportsbook; across fourteen years my work also spans engineering and certifying firmware, validating device precision, and holding products to industry standards.

I turn messy product feedback into concrete fixes, and I'm happiest introducing test automation where teams were relying on manual checks. Meticulous about detail, fluent in the broader business context, and built for collaboration — I make your mission my mission until the objectives are in focus.

Team Lead Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Lead quality for a licensed sportsbook across the full stack — owning the regulated mobile betting app, the customer service portal, and the trading platform that manages the book's liability. Manage and mentor a team of three QA engineers under strict gaming-regulatory requirements.

  • Built and own a manual test suite of 2,000+ cases spanning the entire stack — mobile app, CS portal, and risk platform.
  • Drive end-to-end testing of the mobile sports-betting app: wagering flows, live odds, bet placement, wallet, and geolocation compliance.
  • Validate the customer-service portal agents use to manage player accounts, transactions, and support escalations.
  • Test the liability-management platform that imports events, sets and adjusts lines, and manages real-time book risk and exposure.
  • Lead and mentor 3 direct reports — owning test planning, process, and release coverage across the organization.

What colleagues say.

Scott is a star of QA, a cultural contributor and someone you want to work with. He sees the challenge of software QA as an enigma, a puzzle solved by finding where software breaks through the most unusual of control paths. He builds methodical test plans, tracks performance and results, works closely with developers and product managers to resolve, oversees release process, and confidently qualifies a release. Beyond his strong technical skills Scott is just a great guy. He's contribution-focused, he'll wear many hats and do what it takes to help the team. You will build better quality products faster with Scott on your team.

Scott is the best QA Engineer, and one of the best engineers, I have ever worked with. He was an irreplaceable member of a small team that launched an extremely complex suite of products, the functionality of which was utterly essential to a diversity of users in a high-stakes context (launching the world's first robotic restaurant amid a lot of media hype). Aside from being an excellent tester, debugger, white-boarder, and "rubber ducky", an unusually hard worker, and a utility player ready to step up to any task, Scott is also a formidable leader — finding and repairing that one broken communication link, pushing the team through project delivery, or offering up a timely joke or a friendly ear when needed. I have absolutely no doubt that Creator would not have launched with the same success if Scott had not been at the company.
